This compendium brings together 31 case studies, resources and initiatives presented during the Daring Cities 2026 conference, highlighting practical approaches to advancing climate action across five areas, including multilevel collaboration. Elaborated by ICLEI, it showcases many ways cities and regions are working with national governments and other partners to strengthen climate governance, implementation, finance and partnerships. For CHAMP endorsers, the Compendium offers a useful collection of examples and approaches that can inform efforts to strengthen coordination and translate national climate commitments into local action.
