The event formed part of The Big Switch, a new global initiative from the Under2 Coalition designed to accelerate clean electrification through subnational leadership. The initiative recognizes a principle that sits at the heart of CHAMP: while national governments set targets and create enabling conditions, implementation happens locally, where infrastructure is built, investments are deployed, and communities experience the benefits of climate action.
